Launching V13.0 of Understand Taxation

We have recently launched V13.0 of Understand Taxation.  The software has been thoroughly and reliably updated for the Finance Act 2007 and uses the rates and allowances for 2007/08. Bookkeeping with Sage & Spreadsheets with Excel

BPP Learning Media publish a user friendly and easy to understand workbook addressing Bookkeeping with Sage and Spreadsheets with Excel. This very popular workbook is proving a favourable additional resource to students who have already studied the AAT Bookkeeping Certificate (ABC).

The workbook is split into 4 sections:

BPP Learning Media launch NEW ABC Practice Assessment CD-ROM

Over the last few months as part of our Customer Care strategy BPP Learning Media has taken on board feedback and recommendations from both students and college lecturers regarding the ABC materials. This research has resulted in two new benefits to lecturers and students. The first improvement has been the introduction of a new pricing matrix which is now based on student numbers, providing colleges with greater flexibility to adopt the ABC package. BPP Learning Media announces the release of Understand Accounts International

After research and consultation with our colleagues in the UK educational sector we are pleased to announce the launch of Understand accounts international. This highly interactive title introduces students to:

• The language of international accounting and the global use of 'inventories', 'receivables' and 'payables'
• The opportunity to work through the brand new 'statement of changes in equity'
• The materials have been fully up-dated for the accounting layout in Appendix 1 of IAS 1 for income statements and balance sheets
• Explains the two new fundamental assumption of accruals basis in accounting and going concern of the reporting entity

Reporter

All BPP Learning Media software has student tracking built in as standard. When a student first logs-on to the package a user account is created for each student. This is then up-dated with various performance indicators that can be viewed by the lecturer through Reporter. Student data can also be exported in a format that can be read by most spreadsheet packages to allow custom reports to be built if required.
